The government of Nepal has withdrawn the bill designed to integrate and amend laws related to Guthi, 2075. The bill had been tabled before the National Assembly.
Speaking at a press meet held here today, Minister for Land Reforms, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Aryal announced that the bill has been withdrawn as it was deemed necessary to hold further deliberations and consultation with the stakeholders. Also, because efforts have been made to spread illusion among the public over the bill, instigate them and spoil the atmosphere, she added.
