IEC Designers Runway to be held


A fashion show, IEC Designers Runway-11, is going to be organised in Kathmandu.

Like last year, IEC College (College of Art and Fashion) is going to host the fashion show this year as well.

Managed by Next Models Nepal, the organisation has also opened applications for models of the show.

Female models with a height of at least 5 feet 6 inches can apply, informed the Next Models Nepal. Selection will be held on Saturday, June 11.

At the fashion show, 30 models including six men and 24 women will present fashion designs designed by 61 fashion designers of IEC College on the ramp.

The fashion designers are pass out students of the 19th batch of the College.

Ravi Dhamla, CEO of Next Models Nepal, who has taken the management responsibility, said that the fashion show, which has been organised regularly for the past several years, is being prepared to be presented in a better way than last year.

The main objective of IEC Designer Runway is to promote Nepali fashion designers and bring the attractive designs of the Nepali fashion designed by them to the international level, said Shailja Adhikari, Managing Director of IEC College.

According to the organisers, international choreographer Abhimanyu Singh Tomar will also visit Nepal for the fashion show.
