Kathmandu records 45 new cases of COVID-19


45 people tested positive for COVID-19 inside Kathmandu Valley on Thursday, 30th July, 2020.

Of the 45 cases, 41 are from Kathmandu District, 2 from Bhaktapur, and 2 from Lalitpur. The Ministry did not mention travel history of the 45, and are said to be placed in observation across different facilties in Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, 274 new cases were confirmed across the nation on Thursday, taking the tally to 19,547 including 14,248 cases of recovery and 52 deaths. Nepal recorded three fatalities owing to COVID-19 on Thursday.

6,304 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
