Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged all political parties that worked together for writing the constitution now to work jointly for the development of the country.
Prime Minister Deuba said so while addressing the inaugural session of the 10th general convention of the CPN (UML), the main opposition party, today in Chitwan.
“We all were one to make the constitution, now it is time for us all to move forward for the development of the country,” he said while also expressing best wishes for the success of the convention.
“Rule of law, safeguarding of democracy, national sovereignty and prosperity of the country constitute the goal of all parties, and it should be so,” Prime Minister Deuba said, adding, “We have to adopt a system in line with the procedures enshrined in the constitution to sort out whatever differences we have in relation to policies.”
Referring to his stay in the prison as a political prisoner along with UML Chair KP Oli, PM Deuba urged him for working together to develop the country. “All problems can be solved through dialogue and discussion.”
