Khadka shared that locals of around half a dozen of villages including Luhadaha and Kotang cross the rivulet keeping their lives at the risk.

Many people have lost their lives while cross the stream, mentioned Hari Bahadur Khadka, chairperson of Junichande-4.

“Applications were filed time and again at the then-District Development Committee for the construction of the bridge since 2064 BS. We also informed lawmakers for the same,” he said, adding that the rural municipality has incorporated the issue in its policy and programme for the past six years continuously, but it has not been implemented.
