Madan Krishna Pays Tribute To Prem Dhoj Pradhan From Hospital Bed


Veteran artiste and comedian, Madan Krishna Shrestha has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of veteran singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan who passed away on Thursday in Kathmandu.

 Shrestha, who is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, has expressed grief over Pradhan’s death.

Recalling the late legendary, Madan Krishna has written, “In the year 2026 BS, I took a step forward in the field of music by becoming the first in the competition by singing the words of poet Durga Lal Dai in your music.  You are a person loved by everyone. You are the person with humanity in your heart. You are the singer who has God in your heart who does not say any bad word to anyone.”

 He further wrote, “I consider myself lucky to have lived my life in your company.”

 Madan Krishna has mentioned that he has been admitted to Nepal Mediciti Hospital again and he is confident of winning over COVID-19.

He further wrote, “I will recover soon and I was thinking of coming to see you at the hospital or your Bagbazaar-based house after recovery. But, you have left us all. I couldn’t hold back my tears, brother.”

Madan Krishna further said that the song “Goreto Tyo Gaunko Laun Aaj” was ringing in his ears.

“You used to say, Ghumtima Naaau Hai Aakha Timi Judhaun (don’t come on the turn to contact the eyes). Now all that is left is to look at your picture and control the heart. May your soul rest in peace. A heartfelt tribute, brother,” he wrote.
