Kathmandu Metropolitan Crime Division has arrested one person who commented against Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli in social media platform.
Lal Bahadur Tamang, 34, a local of Sindhupalchowk was arrested from Kathmandu after he commented in a post of a news portal. Senior Superintendent of Police at the Crime Division Sahakul Thapa informed that Tamang was arrested based on his misuse of social media to scare public.
The crime division informed that Tamang will be dealt under Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 and has been sent to Metropolitan Crime Division Teku.
