A youth has killed a leopard in a fight with the wild cat.
Yam Bahadur Kunwar, 30, of Resunga Municipality-6, killed the leopard after the leopard attacked him while he was visiting his poultry farm.
According to Lekhraj Kunwar, Yam Bahadur’s younger brother, Yam Bahadur wrestled against the leopard for about ten minutes.
Prabhat Sapkota, chief of the division forest office, Gulmi, informed that the process to collect details of the incident site and the leopard has been initiated along with the way to manage the carcass.
Injured Yam Bahadur is undergoing treatment at Gulmi district hospital and his health condition is said to be normal, according to the hospital source.
The leopard had killed over five dozen chickens in the farm.
