The meeting of the 10-member task force formed to resolve the CPN-UML intra-party rift is currently being held in Singha Durbar.
Subash Chandra Nembang, coordinator of the task force, informed that the meeting had kicked off at 10:30 in the morning. “Our discussions currently are centered on preserving party unity,” he said.
Following the active functioning of the task force from Tuesday, the party leaders and cadres have been hopeful that the factions of CPN-UML would finally come to an understanding.
The leaders of the task force have said that the meeting held on July 6 had ended on a progressive note.
