Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, has appealed to the concerned authorities to work towards attracting the youth to the field of information technology.
Addressing the first meeting of Parbati Multipurpose Campus located in Bethanchok Rural Municipality-2 Geldung today, Minister Karki pointed out the need to attract the youth towards IT as it is the future in the changing situation.
Minister Karki said that since education is the basis of development, education that teaches civilization will remove darkness from the society. He expressed the opinion that Nepal can become a rich country in South Asia in the next ten years if the problems of water resources, tourism and agriculture can be solved and transformed into opportunities.
On the occasion, chairperson of Bethanchok rural municipality Bhagwan Adhikari said that the rural municipality plans to maintain the educational quality and enrich the rural municipality through agriculture and animal husbandry along with religious tourism. (RSS)
