Nepali Congress (NC) spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said the party cadres should be given opportunities based on their contributions, capacity and dedication. Dr Mahat said so while talking to the media at his residence on Thursday.
On the occasion, he said he would contest the upcoming poll from Nuwakot district if the people in Nuwakot expect his necessity there.
“Construction of Chhahare-Tokha tunnel route, Balaju-Kakani road and many other (projects) are left to do for the development of Nuwakot. I expect to complete those remaining jobs by winning the poll from Nuwakot,” Dr Mahat shared his plan to contest the upcoming federal election from Nuwakot.
On the occasion, he called for unifying the NC in the district.
Likewise, Dr Mahat said the NC was for keeping the existing five-party alliance until the federal and province assembly polls. (RSS)
