Nepali Congress President and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the demise of Kapil Kumari Basnet, mother of NC central member and HoR member, Ambika Basnet.
Kapil Kumari passed away at her residence in Kathmandu on Sunday. She was 98-years-old.
Issuing a condolence message, President Deuba also expressed tribute to the late Basnet and extended condolences to the bereaved family members. Deuba reminded that the late Basnet had played an active role in the country’s democratic movement. With her demise, NC has lost a senior person. (RSS)
