Nepali Congress president and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the jeep accident occurred on Tuesday at Kharpunath rural municipality-5 of Humla district in which passengers on board the jeep have gone missing as the vehicle plunged into the Karnali river.
Issuing a press note on Tuesday, NC president Deuba has called on the government to immediately expedite the search and rescue of the missing people.
He also called attention of the government on the need of promptly forming a taskforce to carry out detailed study to reduce such road fatalities in the context of increase in such accidents in recent days. RSS
