Nepali Eves Inch Closer To The Final


Nepali eves inched closer to the title clash of the Asian Senior Central Zone Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup after they registered third victory in a row beating host Bangladesh 3-0 in a straight set in the match held at Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday.

Nepal made a winning start as they registered a 3-2 victory over Sri Lanka in their first match on Thursday and they recorded second victory in a row after beating Maldives by 3-0 in straight sets in their second match on Friday.

Nepali eves continued their dominance over Bangladesh as they registered a comfortable 25-5, 25-15 and 25-17 victory over the host to move closer to the title race.
Nepal will face Uzbekistan in the fourth matches of the Cup on Sunday.

The Nepli girls marched towards the title defending journey after moving at the top of the league standing by collected eight points from three matches.
Nepal go down to Lanka

Nepal’s national men’s volleyball team suffered a second defeat at the Asian Senior Central Zone Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup after they went down to Sri Lanka by 3-1 held at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka won the first set by 25-18 but Nepal made a comeback in the second set by winning the set 25-22 to level the score 1-1.

Sri Lanka restored their lead to 2-1 with 25-16 win over Nepal in the third set and then sealed the match by winning the fourth set by 25-15.

Earlier, Nepal went down to host Bangladesh 3-0 in their opening game of the Cup on Thursday. They made a comeback in their second match on Friday as they registered a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan.
