Nine people have been killed while three others injured in a jeep accident that took place in Chhedagad Municipality of Jajarkot district.
A Bolero jeep with the registration number 02 -001 Cha 429 was met with an accident near Bhirpati while it was heading towards Wadawan from Dashera in Chhedagad Municipality- 4 and 5.
The accident took place at about 4:10 pm today, according to Padam Raj Bhattari, sub-inspector of the police.
Chief District Officer of the district Anjan Kumar Neupane has informed that a police team was sent to the accident place just after the accident message was heard.
Neupane has said that so far nine people have been killed and three others were injured whereas detailed information on the accident is yet to be received.
Police have said that the identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
