The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) has handed over 10 thousand antigen it received from Japan to the Ministry of Health and Population.
NRNA vice-president Dr Badri KC handed the antigen worth around Rs 10 million to Minister of State for Health, Nawaraj Rawat today.
Addressing the hand-over programme, Minister of State Rawat said the Nepalis living abroad have made huge contribution in the fight against COVID-19, stressing on further collaboration between the Government of Nepal and the NRNA.
NRNA vice-president Dr KC said the non-resident Nepalis have supported medical goods and equipment since the beginning of the outbreak of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Association’s central council representative Kapildev Thapa expressed happiness to have mobilized medical assistance to Nepal under his initiation.
NRNA had handed over medical goods worth Rs 20 million since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
