A total of 1, 55,213 received their second dose of Vero Cell in the two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, of the three day vaccination campaign.
Dr Jhalak Sharma Gautam, chief of the National Immunisation Programme, informed that 57,750 received their booster on Wednesday and 97,463 on Tuesday.
In Kathmandu, 30,647 got their jabs on Tuesday and 32,417 got their second jabs on Wednesday.
Dr. Gautam said that 4, 60,000 who received their first dose on a weeklong vaccination campaign from 8 June have already received their second dose, along with those who missed their second jabs of Vero Cell from the previous vaccination campaign.
A total of 3,897 vaccination centers have been set up across the contry for the purpose of vaccination.
So far, 2.6 million people have received the first dose, and 851,300 people have received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine including the Covishield and Vero Cell.
