A pedestrian died when a bus hit him at Nauranga in Geruwa Rural Municipality-6, Bardiya.
Basanta Tharu, 32, from Rajapur Municipality-1, died while undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College after being hit by the bus.
The bus with registration number (Bhe 1 Kha 336) was heading to Gola from Gulariya when it hit Tharu.
The Area Police Office at Patabhar has taken under control the bus driver and the vehicle.
