A meeting has been held between the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
According to Surya Kiran Sharma, Press Coordinator of CPN (MC) Chairman Prachanda, the two discussed current political issues at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar.
Earlier, the ruling coalition parties agreed to hold local elections in May. The issue of the US-funded Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has also been on the agenda recently.
However, political issues were discussed during today’s meeting, Sharma said. Prime Minister Deuba and CPN (MC) Chairman Prachanda had a meeting at 10:30 in the morning.
