Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has given responsibility of additional ministries to the existing ministers.
Prime Minister Oli has kept the Defence and Foreign Affairs ministries with himself, according to Sher Bahadur Tamang, central committee member of the ruling CPN (UML) and former minister for health and population.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has been given responsibilities of three more ministries, namely Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Ministry of Water Resource and Irrigation and Ministry of Home Affairs.
Similarly, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Krishna Gopal Shrestha has been given responsibility of Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and Ministry of Health and Population.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basant Kumar Nembang has got additional responsibility of Ministry of Agriculture and Avian Development, Ministry of Drinking Water, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and Ministry of Urban Development.
Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Lila Nath Shrestha has been given responsibility of Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Ministry of Woman, Children and Senior Citizen, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
