Nepal police have arrested a cadre of outlawed Biplab party accused of being involved in the Nakhu bombing in front of Ncell office in February – the incident had claimed the life of 49 year old Singh Bahadur Gurung and injured two.
Nabin Bishwakarma aka Hitman, 43, was arrested on Monday. He had been absconding since the incident. Bishwakarma who originally hails from Kalikot Naraharinath Rural Municipality -1 was living in Lubhu, Lalitpur.
A team from Metropolitan Police Circle Lalitpur nabbed him from Mahalaxmi Municipality – 3, Lalitpur with a bike (State no 3 -02-003 Pa 5131). Police have also confiscated various party ideological books, diaries and mobiles and sim cards from him.
According to Metropolitan Police Circle Lalitpur, Bishwakarma was also involved in the bombing near the wall of then Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Ayodhi Prasad Yadav’s house located in Dhapakhel on 2075 Baisakha 9.
Bishwakarma was sent to Lalitpur District Court on Tuesday for legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
