Due to the influence of the low-pressure system, there will be partial rain and snowfall in some places of the country on Sunday.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the mountainous areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces, will receive rainfall with a possibility of light snowfall in a few places.
Similarly, there will be partial to normal rain in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces with the possibility of light snowfall in some high-elevation regions of hilly areas.
The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the places.
Meanwhile, several parts of the Terai region were covered in fog during early morning due to cold wind. With a gradual decrease in temperature in most parts of the country, the Department has requested all to take necessary precautions to avoid cold.
