Quarantined Nepalis return home (with photos)

All 175 Nepali nationals evacuated from China’s Hubei province and kept in quarantine at Kharipati of Bhaktapur since February 16 have returned home after their swab samples tested negative for coronavirus, the Ministry of Health and Population informed.

They got to go home yesterday. 175 Nepali nationals, mostly students, were brought home from China and were kept in quarantine at Kharipati for 15 days.

As of yet, only one Nepali national had tested positive for coronavirus and the person has returned home after being cured, according to Mahendra Prasad Shrestha, spokesperson at the Ministry of Health.
