There will be a re-voting on Tuesday at the polling centers in Gulmi where the voting for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly (PA) election was postponed on November 20
Basanta Raj Poudel, Chief Returning Officer of Gulmi said that voting will retake place in Bhagwati Secondary School ‘Ka’, and ‘Kha’ at Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-1, and ward-2, Arbenima on November 22.
The voting was stopped after 55 votes were cast in the ballot boxes for directly selecting candidates of the Provincial Assembly instead of ballot boxes for directly selecting candidates of the House of Representatives. A total of 664 voters voted for a total of 1,369 candidates in polling centers.
Ram Bahadur Kunwar, Assistant Chief Returning Officer said that ballot boxes from all other polling stations are brought to Tamghas besides two polling centers at Kaligandaki Rural Municipality.
There are a total of 223,695 voters and 279 polling centers in the district.
