Among three youths who jumped from a river bridge to make a TikTok video in Kailali district, one teenager has gone missing since Saturday.

According to the local police, 18-years-old Sanjay Khadka of Lamkichuha-2 has gone missing after he jumped into Karnali River from the bridge in Chisapani along with 18-years-old Lokesh Pyakurel of Lamkichuha-1 and 17-years-old Birendra Singh on Saturday afternoon.

Among the three, two guys managed to swim to the riverbank. Lokesh Pyakurel, was injured and was taken to the Nepalgunj for treatment, informed District Police Office, Kailali. All three of them are students of grade 10 in the same school.

The police said that the search for the missing youth is going on.

The TikTok craze is going way out of hand, especially among youths who are more likely to take a step towards danger for a short TikTok video.

A few days back, MalPokhari in Lalitpur went viral on Tiktok because of the shaking of land while walking. Many youths came at the place, to shoot videos, while knowing the land was like a swamp and people could get stucked inside of it.

Police had to intervene people from entering into the land and the local level government has also placed a board stating the risk against entering the field.

Similarly, three months ago a 24-year-old youth sustained serious injuries after he fell off a suspension bridge in Dang while making a TikTok video and was rushed to hospital where he took his last breath.
