Tendency to abhor federal republic also exists in bureaucracy: Maoist Center chair

CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the tendency to dislike the achievements made through the sacrifices and dedication of the Nepali people is found within the bureaucracy also.

He urged the civil employees themselves to make positive interventions against the tendency of preventing the effective implementation of the works carried out in favor of the people by the political leadership and of not internalizing its spirit.

The Maoist Centre Chair and former Prime Minister said this while addressing the central committee meeting of the National Employee’s Federation of Nepal here today. He stressed on the need of conducting a campaign within the bureaucracy itself to dissuade such a tendency in it and to strongly protest it.

Stating that the concerted efforts and commitment of all were necessary in the struggle to institutionalize the change, he expressed happiness as according to him an environment has been built for the former Maoists who were in separate camps for several reasons in the past coming to one place.

The Maoist Centre Chair believed that this campaign will gradually become successful as the same environment has also been created within the employee’s organization as well.

Noting that he has received information that the Federal Civil Service Bill was being obstructed at the highest level of the employees, he urged the employees to exert pressure against such tendency and make the organization dynamic.

Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal, said that the party has been effortful in resolving the problem seen in the employees’ administration. Bhusal is also the ‘faction in charge’ of the Federation. (RSS),
