Three persons have been killed while three others have sustained serious injuries as the landslides buried their house at Hwama village in Rolpa Municipality.
Those who died were the members of the same family.
Nawaraj Sapkota, Chief District Officer of Rolpa district, informed that two of the three injured were in critical conditions and that helicopter was called for rescue and treatment of the injured. The police have reached the incident site which takes about 4 hours on foot from district headquarters.
It has been raining incessantly for a couple of days in the district.
