Vehicular movement has been resumed on the Beni-Jomsom road since Thursday evening.
The road linking the trans-Himalayan district Mustang via the northern belt of Myagdi district has been opened 18 days after it was disrupted due to landslide and flooding at multiple places.
Traffic on this 76 kilometres long roadway had halted after the landslide at Rupse and Kavre of Annapurna rural municipality-3 in Myagdi district and at Ghoptebhir on the border with Mustang washed away section of the road.
Chief of Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project, Ashok Tiwari said traffic has been resumed after removing the landslide debris deposited on the road, construction of diversion and new road at some places.
