Two children have been killed in a Bomb blast in Kalikot while other three children have been injured in the incident.
A stray bomb was blasted at the RanaBada of Tilagufa Municipality – 10 Kalikot district on Saturday.
According to the police, a bomb was blasted all of a sudden while children were playing at the millet field near home.
District Police Office, Kalikot Chief Jayashwar Rimal, said that the bomb may have been thrown during the Maoist insurgency period.
According to him, as the injured children could not be treated in the district, they were sent to Surkhet by helicopter following the initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
