A United States high-ranking Congressional delegation met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday.
Prime Minister Deuba has informed through his Twitter that the group of lawmakers and PM Deuba discussed climate change’s effects in the Himalayan region
The team arrived in Kathmandu on Friday for an official visit as a part of the ongoing bilateral partnership between Nepal and the United States of America.
According to US Embassy, the delegation team led by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (New York) includes Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (Rhode Island), Cory Booker (New Jersey), Mark Kelly (Arizona), and Representative Mondaire Jones (17th Congressional District, New York).
