CPN-UML candidate Padma Kumari Aryal has continued her lead in the vote counting in Syangja constituency 2.
Aryal has trailed her close contender, Nepali Congress central vice-President Dhanraj Gurung, by 11 votes.
According to Returning Officer Ramchandra Sharma, out of a total of 6,826 votes count, UML candidate Aryal has obtained 2,920 votes while NC candidate Gurung received 2,909.
Likewise, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Tikraj Gurung is in third position with 589 votes.
Vote counting had begun in Syangja-2 since last night.
Likewise, UML candidate Mohan Regmi has so far obtained 3,102 votes in Syangja constituency 2(1) whereas his arch-rival NC candidate Bhojraj Aryal got 3,091 votes.
Vote counting had begun in Syangja-2 10 days after the election was held. (RSS)
