Vote Count For NC Vice-Presidents Begins, Results Likely In 4 Hrs


The count of the vote cast to elect the new working committee of the Nepali Congress in the 14th general convention of the party has begun at the NC central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

According to Keshav Rijal, spokesperson of the NC central election committee, the vote count began a little later than scheduled for.

The vote count was slated to begin at 4:30 pm today.

The result of the election for the post of the NC party president has already been made following the second round of the election.

Rijal said that results of the vote count for vice-presidents of the party are likely to come out in four hours while the results of the other office bearers and the central committee members will take more time.
