Home Minister and Chairperson of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane has said that he will not let the votes of hope of all Nepalese go in vain.
Lamichhane said while addressing the first meeting of the House of Representatives(HoR) on Monday that denizens have shown a great spirit of voting knowingly or unknowingly to alert the old parties and to open a window of a new opportunity to new parties.
Saying that the government has been formed in accordance with the people’s voting, Home Minister Lamichhane said, “We will live up to the expectations of people through the common minimum program of the government.” He expressed confidence that the common minimum program of the government will address the living standard of denizens.
He said that since the parliament is formed by the opposition party, it would be better if they could make creative suggestions and campaigns than instigate.
Mentioning that people want the answer to all the mishaps that a country went through, he said, “We will thoroughly look into the corruption that happened in earlier times, and the government will be hard on the issue.”
