Will Vote For And Participate In Govt.: MP Chaudhary

Lawmaker and Central committee member of CPN-UML Metmani Chaudhary said that the camp of Khanal-Nepal led CPN-UML was preparing to cast their vote in support of the government and will participate in Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government very soon.
He was speaking in a cadres’ meet in Dang on Saturday and the faction of Madhav Nepal had organized it. Chaudhary stated that they were successful in protecting the House of Representatives and claimed that the House will run to its actual tenure of one-and-a-half years.
“Only because of our strong and clear stand the House is safe, the constitution is alive and we will vote for the Deuba-led government and participate in it too,” he said.
According to him, around 50 lawmakers from the camp will cast their vote in favour of the government. “Discussions and dialogues are going on in our party whether to support the government or not and the number of lawmakers who are willing to cast the vote for the government is also increasing,” he added.
Lawmaker Chaudhary was worried about the division in the party. He said that though they did not want separation from the party, it was impossible to stay integrated in the existing condition. He thinks that the appointment of Madhav Kumar Nepal in the parliamentary party and anybody except former Prime Minister KP Oli to lead the party was the bottom line to be met for the integration.
“For now we are demanding former speaker Subash Nembang to lead the party and Madhav Nepal to lead our parliamentary party,” he said.
