Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said youths could play an important role to make local level election free, fair and peaceful.
Speaker Sapkota said it while inaugurating the ‘Ray Television HD’ here Sunday. “Technology has brought forth revolution, narrowing down the world,” he said, adding that both the positive and negative sides of technology should be analysed well.
He further said youths have potential. They can utilize knowledge for the welfare of country.
On the occasion, FNCCI Chairperson Shekhar Golchha said television could contribute not only to social but also to economic development of the country.
Chairperson of Nepal Chambers of Commerce Rajendra Malla said the media should play a constructive role to prop up national economy.
Chairperson of Ray Media Group Prakash Babu Poudel said the television will broadcast the news giving priority to social, political, economic and educational activities.
