Arsenal give Fulham a Premier League lesson.

Arsenal welcome Fulham to the Premier League.

Gunners new boy Gabriel Magalhães got a self-administered lesson in how not to defend in the Premier League in the early minutes when he tried to let the ball run through to goalkeeper Bernd Leno and Fulham almost nipped in to score.

The Brazilian got away with that one but down at the other end, Tim Ream was not so lucky.

In the eighth minute, the experienced American centre-back sliced a clearance straight to Willian and when his effort was half dealt with by goalkeeper Marek Rodák, Alexandre Lacazette was on hand to scramble home.

Aside from that early wobble, new Gunners signing Gabriel had a near-flawless debut.

The 22-year-old is good on the ball, he seems to relish one-on-one situations and he even capped off a brilliant Premier League bow by heading/shouldering home the second goal.

Get William Saliba alongside him in central defence and Arsenal really could have a backline to be envious of.

Elsewhere, fellow Brazilian debutant Willian also had an excellent game.

The former Chelsea man looked dangerous in a central position and after rattling the post in the first half, he finished his 75 minutes on the pitch with a couple of assists to add to his collection.

Granit Xhaka and Alexandre Lacazette also had performances to be proud of, and who can argue with the brilliance of captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?
