French superstar Kylian Mbappe is waiting for offers from reigning Premier League champions Liverpool to arrive as he prepares to leave Paris Saint-Germain in 2021.
Liverpool boast one of the strongest attack-lines in the whole of Europe. The excellent work being done by the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been replicated by few in recent times.
The combination play between the trio and just the general understanding that they share are both the envy of teams all over the continent.
However, it has been suggested that PSG forward Mbappe wants to leave the Ligue 1 at the end of the current season, and that he has earmarked Liverpool as a potential landing spots, along with arch rivals Manchester United.
Liverpool finished last season as the outright winners of the Premier League, in that there was little doubt about the end-result even around Christmas. The extent of their dominance is something that the Premier League wasn’t used too, and this effected the morale of all the teams around them.
Although Klopp’s side haven’t made many additions to the squad this summer, the current roster is good enough to challenge once again. And, the potential addition of a highly-rated player like Mbappe would single-handedly carry this Anfield team to the next level.
With Roberto Firmino going through a bit of a rough patch, someone like Mbappe would be a great acquisition for the club, even if it’s a year down the line.
