Narre Kings and Royal Rhinos to battle in NAV Cup cricket final

On the grand final of 14th NAV Cup tournament, Narre Kings and Royal Rhinos will be facing each other on 3rd March. The tournament is organised by Nepalese Association of Victoria, NAV.

Royal Rhinos defeated Expert Cricket club with 26 runs on Sunday during the semi-final, while Narre Kings won against Himalayan Giant with 40 runs.

Chand and Pukar scored 81 and 29 runs respectively for Royal Rhinos in the semi-final. Sunam and Nabin were able to take 4 wickets each in 20 overs match. However, Expert were only able to score 125 runs after getting the target of 152 runs.

Similarly, in another semi-final match Narre Kings gave a target of 157 runs to Himalayan Giants after batting first. Pradip took 46 runs, while Sandesh and Keshav took 23 runs each for Narre Kings. In response to the given target, Giants scored only 117 runs in 20 overs. For Giants, Sunil contributed 35 runs and Janam gave 21 runs.

The Grand final will be held on 3rd March 2019 after 1 pm at JC Donath Reserve in Reservoir. The organiser committee and sponsor, Tara Gaire and Grace International’s Dipak Acharya have requested all the Nepalese community residing in Victoria to support the game and show their presence.
