Nepalese Rock Band ‘Our Bhet’ Returns With New Single Carrying a Message of Hope
Nepalese rock band Our Bhet has made a powerful comeback, releasing their latest single “Our Bhet,” at a time when the country is experiencing significant political turbulence. Alongside it, their song “Andhakar Jiwan Ma” delivers a strong message of positivity and resilience—reminding listeners that light eventually breaks through even the darkest periods.
Formed more than 20 years ago, Our Bhet had been on a long hiatus as its members moved to different parts of the world. Despite the distance, the band has reunited with a shared purpose: to produce music that inspires, uplifts, and carries meaning beyond entertainment.
Band member Prahlad Dhakal, who is based in Melbourne , shared that the group felt compelled to return with a message-driven project.
“We want to create music with purpose. Even though our band members now live in different countries, we want to remind our people that there is always a silver lining after darkness. Music is our passion, but we also want our songs to speak to the moment and give hope,” he said.

Recorded in the scenic Banaskhandi Forest, Hetauda, the track blends emotional lyrics with soulful rock elements—reminding the nation that light always follows darkness.
