Ayumi Tamang, Registered Nurse at Monash Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital shares important Covid-19 message with community


Melbourne, Australia:

Ayumi Tamang, a practising Registered Nurse at Monash Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital, has shared an important message relating to Covid-19 with the community. The message has been shared from the Victorian Department of Health, and is authorised by the Victorian Government.

As someone who has been involved in the treatment of Covid-19 patients at her workplace, Ms. Tamang urges everyone to cumpulsorily wear masks, and to abide by the health restrictions in place.

Currently, Victoria is under stage 4 restrictions, wherein residents are allowed to leave home for four reasons only:

  • shopping for essential supplies,
  • care and caregiving,
  • exercise,
  • essential work.

Ms. Tamang also urges the community to remain safe, and to get themselves tested if they are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19. Lastly, she requests everyone to remain vigilant and calm, and reminds the public that victory against the virus is possible through collective and united action from the public.
