Breaking: Teenage stabbed in Granville, Sydney; knifeman at large

A knifeman is said to be loose in Granville, Sydney’s west after stabbing a teenager. The teenager who was rushed to nearby Westmead Hospital is said to be in a critical state, and ‘fighting for his life’.

The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. in South Granville where emergency services found the 17 year old with multiple wounds.

The knifeman is said to be on the run and the police have launched a search operation. An NSW police dog unit and a helicopter have joined the search operators and are assisting the police to nab the knifeman.
