Melbourne, Australia:
Friends and family members of Anil Tamang have made a public appeal to the community towards financial assistance for his medical emergency.
Anil, a temporary resident in Australia, started suffering from high fever from 21st March, 2021. By the 24th, his situation had deteriorated, and his sister Anita, had to call in an ambulance. He was taken to Sunshine Hospital, and has been kept in ICU under ventilator support since.
Doctors informed Anil is suffering from severe epilepsy (multiple seizures). His vitals haven’t improved, and according to his sister Anil is suffering from several other complexities wich include blood infections, clotting, ongoing pneumonia and other infections.
Anil, who had arrived in Australia in 2015, had completed his course in Commercial Cookery and was working in Newport. Losing his earlier job to the Covid-19 pandemic, he had recently begun a new job, and was not financially strong. His sister Anita, who is also a student is not very financially independent – and is therefore seeking the community’s support to help her family in a time of crisis.
Hon. Consul General of Nepal to Victoria Chandra Yonzon after paying a personal visit to Sunshine Hospital, has extended a personal appeal of his own to the community to help the family during their time of crisis.
