Kathmandu Properties inaugurates new project ‘KTM Homes’


Melbourne, Australia:

2 years into dedicated Real Estate Management Services, Melbourne’s Kathmandu Properties has inaugurated their new project – KTM Homes. With their new venture, KTM Homes plans to venture into Property Development and Construction.

The project was jointly inaugurated by former NRNA President Shesh Ghale and Hon. Consul General of Nepal to Victoria Chandra Yonzon. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Thornbury, Mr. Ghale commended the youth’s efforts towards their new initiative. Ghale also suggested the team to pay a great deal of attention towards building regulations and protocols.

Hon. Consul General Chandra Yonzon in his wishes congratulated the team for their new initiative, and thanked them for making the Nepali community proud. Speaking upon the effects of the pandemic, he wished the team the best in the years to come.

Rajesh Acharya, President of Australian Nepalese Multicultural Centre, Keshav Kandel, President of NRNA Australia, Jamuna Parajuli, President of Didibahini Samaj Victoria, Dr. Raju Adhikari, President of Federation of Nepalese Community Associations of Australia (FeNCAA) too expressed their best wishes to KTM Homes, and commended the spirit of the organisation which served as a motivational tool to other community members.

Speaking to around 200 community members attending the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Dikpal Dev Pangeni, Director of Kathmandu Properties thanked the community for their belief and support, and shared the company’s growth from a small office in Craigieburn to achieving new visions. Mr. Pangeni also shared that the decision to establish KTM Homes, and to foray into construction was inspired by the changes in traditional real estate business owing to the impact by Covid-19 pandemic.

KTM Homes will be led by Surya Maharjan and Hari Khadka along with the direction of Mr. Pangeni. The project has an estimated two dozen Nepali youths involvement with Simon Dangol as manager of their Laverton branch, Badri Khanal as manager of their northern branch, and Sudip Neupane as their Property Manager.
