Domenica Berellaro, has been fined 1,000 for violating health standards while spreading the Delta variant’s corona virus in the state.
Dominica is accused of returning home last Friday from Cuba to Canberra via the ACT border to Sydney.
Police said Dominika had confessed to the crime and apologized. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Gary Warboys, Domenica assisted in the police investigation.
According to local media, Assistant Premier Berellaro has responded by focusing on epidemic control rather than commenting on the issue.
