Three children of Nepali origin have bagged medals at the prestigious Australian Taekwondo Nationals 2019.
Simrika Manandhar from NSW won a Gold Medal in the Red Female, age group 12 -14. She trains at Red Dragon Taekwondo in Sydney.
Spandan Thapa from VIC won a Silver Medal in the Red Male, age group 12 – 14. He trains at Taekwondo Plus Australia.
Yangchi Lama from VIC won a Silver Medal in the Red Female, age group 12 -14. She trains at WeiWu Taekwondo.

The competition, organised by Australian Taekwondo was held in Carrara Stadium, Goldcoast, QLD from 6th September to 8th September.
The Nepalese community in Australia is jubilant to hear the news, and praises are echoing for the trio’s efforts.
