NRN Australia’s ACT chapter on Saturday held a picnic for parents, guardians and elders visiting their children around Canberra and Queanbeyan area. Chief Guest to the program, Ambassador to Australia from Nepal, Her Excellency Lucky Sherpa honoured the approximately 60 elders present in the picnic. In a short address by her, she expressed her feeling of warmth upon being able to participate in a noble picnic as such and congratulated NRN ACT for taking upon themselves a communal work as such.

NRN ACT’s organizer Rajan Dhungel welcomed the elders and said the mission behind the picnic was to increase communal friendship amongst the elders. He also told them about the establishment of National Investigation Centre in Nepal by Dr. Mahabir Pun. “We are going to give continuation to programs as such” he added.
