MNTV Australia has sucessfully concluded its First Season of Hall of Fame. The third song of the series was a cover of Mellow by Prashant Shrestha, originally sung by popular Nepali artists Rohit Shakya and Sajjan Raj Vaidya.
The cover song released on 17th July, 2020 has amassed over 63,000 views as of Friday, 24th July, 2020, and has been received positively by its audience.
The song and its visual combination have also appealed directly to its audience – featuring cover singer Prashant Shrestha and Melbourne based Puja Thapa as models, the video transports us through various scenes across Melbourne. According to one viewer, ‘the night theme lights which appear like stars gives the video a very dreamy feel’.
Prashant is also encouraged by the positive response of the community, and is enthusiastic to further his musical aspirations. He has thanked MNTV Australia and its program director Jeewan Rashaili for providing the platform.
Similarly, director Jeewan Rashaili is also ecstatic with the response of MNTV Hall of Fame Season 1. Talking to Nepalese Voice, he has thanked all those who supported to make the series a hit.
“We are very excited to launch Season 2 of Hall of Fame. We will be reaching out to the community to register their expressions of interest, and continue helping members of the community realise their musical aspirations”, he added.
MNTV Hall of Fame will be announcing its second edition very soon.
