Tika Magar from Ilam wins Hall of Fame Season II

In June, 2020 – amidst a lockdown, Tika Magar was scrolling through his Facebook account when he came across an ad for MNTV Hall of Fame – II.

Eight months down the line, after crossing hurdles after hurdles, Tika has been decided the winner of MNTV Hall of Fame – II.

His joy knew no bounds.

“I am very happy to learn about the outcome. I would like to thank the judges Deep Shrestha, Bivek Shrestha (Kandara) and Rajina Rimal for their belief, to the viewers for your encouraging words, and lastly to MNTV Australia for organising this beautiful program”, Tika shared with Nepalese Voice.

“I would also like to thank all my co-participants of MNTV Hall of Fame – II. Without your help and support I wouldn’t have arrived here”, Tika added.

In the grand finale, Tika delivered a beautiful rendition of Bhijla Hai Aashule Pacheuri (originally sung by Roshan Gurung). His fellow Top-3 participants, Bijay Sunar sang Suna Saili (originally sung by Hemanta Rana), whereas Purna BK sang Dherai Choti Marey Ma Ta (originally sung by Shiva Pariyar).

After being decided winner of MNTV Hall of Fame – II, Tika will receive NRS 100,000 as cash prize, an official music video recording of his own song, and an Australia Tour accompanied by judges Deep Shrestha, Bivek Shrestha (Kandar), and Rajina Rimal.
