Another person tests positive for COVID-19, Nepal’s confirmed cases reaches 31


Another person has been diagnosed for COVID-19 in Nepal, taking the total number of confirmed cases at 31.

As per Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population, the newly identified case is a 65 year old male. Further details regarding location and status of patient are awaited.

Similarly, two people have also recovered from the novel coronavirus, taking Nepal’s total number of recoveries to 3. The young woman who had arrived from France and was undergoing treatment at the Teku based Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital made a full recovery and was discharged on Saturday. Similarly, the 65 year old woman from Baglung, and admitted to Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital has also recovered. She has been discharged and sent home on Saturday.

Both recoveries have been advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
