Anushka Shrestha has been crowned as the Miss Nepal 2019 after surpassing 24 other contestants on Thursday evening (local time) in Nepal. The beauty won the 24th edition of the annual beauty pageant which is organised by Hidden Treasure.
Shrestha was crowned as Miss Nepal World 2019 by former Miss Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada. She was not only the title winner but also won two other titles “Miss Intellectual” and “Miss Fascino”. She will be representing Nepal in Miss World 2019 in December in Thailand.
Shrestha, 23, is a commerce graduate and originally from Kathmandu, currently lives in Sydney, Australia. She is also the winner of Miss Nepal Oceania 2018. She has been working in financial sector for past two years.
Pradeepta Adhikari was crowned Miss Nepal Universe, Riya Basnet won the title of Miss Nepal Earth, Meera Kakshapati was declared as Miss Nepal International and Rose Lama won Miss Nepal Supranational title.
